History - Cabinets to Coil Collars
Once a small, family-owned cabinet
manufacturer in the 1920's, Port City Cabinet Works (PCCW)
has grown to be one of the leading fabricators of electrical
insulation. Port City Cabinet
Works' name is evidence of its longevity in the industry as
cabinet shops were the earliest suppliers of electrical insulation.
Over the last 40 years Port City Cabinet Works has been on
the leading edge of the evolution of electrical insulation--from
the use of varnish impregnated wood insulation
to
the advent of phenolics and other composites. Port
City Cabinet Works has earned a solid reputation as an industry
pioneer and innovator with an unsurpassed commitment to its
customers' satisfaction.
